On February 15th, 2019, a new sterilization department and laboratory were opened in the Kremenchuk City Children's Hospital, within the charity project of Roshen Corporation in the healthcare sector.
The budget for the creation of a new sterilization department and laboratory at the expense of Roshen Corporation amounted to 35 million. The new office meets all modern requirements for clean and sterile premises. From now on, treatment and surgery here will be safer for both children and doctors.
The previous sterilization department and the laboratory were in critical condition. Equipment used by doctors was outdated and did not meet either the needs of time or the modern standards of decontamination.
The new sterilization department and the laboratory are fully equipped with modern equipment, furniture and are ready to start work to ensure the full hospital needs.
Due to the fact that the new laboratory has installed new electronic equipment, the results will be more accurate and better. In addition to the unique equipment, the updated laboratory has rationally designed and organized conditions for the staff. Such a high technological standard of equipment and a comfortable level of work of physicians have a positive effect on the final result. After all, new opportunities will allow high standards to conduct analyses and diagnostics. And this, in turn, will affect the correctness of diagnosis for small patients.
The uniqueness of the new sterilization unit is that dirty and clean tools do not cross. Even the door between the rooms where the various stages of cleaning take place is marked. The entire sterilization process lasts about 2 hours.
